Pray at All Times-September Scripture Writing Plan

When life gets tough, I have to admit that my first instinct usually is to worry. Then I try to figure out how I can take control so my life will be better and less stressful.

As a believer, though, I should turn to God first through prayer. It’s through communicating with Him and turning over my problems to Him where I find peace and comfort.

However, prayer is more than just giving my problems to God. Prayer is a way to praise and honor Him as well as hear from Him about what we should do in our lives.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 reminds us to, “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

You see, prayer is just one part of the lifestyle we are called to as believers. It goes with rejoicing and giving thanks no matter what is happening in our lives.
