Just look around to what’s going on in the world today, and it’s no wonder that we are living lives filled with fear and anxiety. We really don’t have to look any further than our personal lives to find situations about which to be worried.
As I’m writing this post, my son is on a study abroad trip to Japan for 5 weeks. My husband is about to get on a plane to go to the Grand Canyon to hike with a friend. That’s almost 50 miles, y’all! And my daughter and I are leaving to go on a Caribbean cruise with the high school band.
Needless to say, my stress levels have been up as I’ve been trying to get everyone ready to go their separate ways. And I have this pit in my stomach as I think about us being spread out all over the world.
It’s times like these that seem to increase my fear and anxiety more than any other. It’s also times like these I need to lean on the Lord as I go through these situations.
The verses this month remind us of God’s faithfulness. He will help see us through situations where fear and anxiety run high. If you’re feeling stressed out, fearful, and anxious about any part of your life, I encourage you to write out the verses for this month.
