Family Ties-January Scripture Writing Plan

2021 is about to come to a close. That means I have been working on the new Scripture Writing Plans for 2022. I can’t believe that this year will be my sixth year producing them!

If you take the time to read through the whole Bible, you will notice a common theme of relationships. God’s relationship with humans and His plan for salvation through His Son Jesus is woven throughout the Bible. There are also a lot of verses that describe our relationship with others.

Because relationships are an important theme in the Bible, I thought it would be good to start the new year by focusing on our relationships within our families.

As you write out these passages of scripture, you’ll notice that family not only means the one we’re born into, but it also means other Christians who are our church family.

Whether you have a great relationship with your family or not, the Bible has a lot to say about how we are to treat each other. And just by seeing how the past couple of years have taken a toll on many relationships, I think the topic of family ties is much needed.

I’m doing something new to help celebrate the sixth year of Scripture Writing Plans. At the end of each month, I’ll introduce the next month’s theme and do a short devotional talk in The Planning Woman Community Facebook Group. If you’re not a group member, I invite you to join here.

The first Facebook Live will be on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at 7 pm central. I hope to see you there!

Visit the Scripture Writing Plan page to download the current month’s plan. You will also have the opportunity to access the Scripture Writing Plan Archives to download plans with other topics.
