A Heart of Thanksgiving-November Scripture Writing Plan

With all of the chaos and confusion in the past year, it’s no wonder that we may not be in the most generous spirit or looking for ways to give thanks. After all, we’ve all been affected by the pandemic in some way.
However, despite our feelings, we can always find something for which to be grateful.
If you are struggling to find reasons to be grateful, ask yourself the following questions. I bet you’ll uncover at least one or two things to give thanks for.
- Is my health still reasonably good?
- Is my family healthy?
- Do I have a job?/Does my spouse have a job?
- Am I able to feed my family?
- Do I have a safe place to live?
- Am I free to worship as I see fit?
Sometimes when something big like the pandemic comes around, we can find ourselves grumbling and complaining about the accompanying changes. But, if we stop for a moment, it’s not too hard to see the many blessings God has poured out even in difficult circumstances.
This month, we are going to focus on gratitude just as we do every November. I’ve created the November Scripture Writing Plan to guide us toward a heart of thanksgiving. I pray that you will practice gratitude daily, not just this month.
Visit the Scripture Writing Plan page to download the current month’s plan. You will also have the opportunity to access the Scripture Writing Plan Archives to download plans with other topics.
Do you do a scripture writing plan each year? If so is there a way to get a copy of it? We started a reading through the Bible in a year group on facebook, each day I post the reading for the next day along with a scripture to write and a weekly memory verse. I am looking for new material.
God bless,
Karin
Karin, I publish the plans once a month. When you sign up for one of the plans, the link you get to download it also has other plans you can download from the year. I do not publish them all at one time. I love what you’re doing with your group!
