Best Ever Spicy Potato Soup

Best ever spicy potato soup

Brrr…Baby it’s cold outside!

Our state got hit with a winter storm yesterday and it has continued through today. Even now it is still sleeting outside my window.

When it gets cold outside, I love to pull out my favorite soup and chili recipes. Unfortunately, though, I did not get the ingredients to make soup or chili before the storm hit! But I do have a soup recipe to share with you today. You can be the beneficiary or this recipe in that hopefully you will be able to get out and purchase the ingredients to make it. ๐Ÿ™‚

I first made this spicy potato soup probably about 10 years ago. I found it in a magazine and thought it sounded simple and delicious. After making it the first time, I knew I had a winner.

Doesn’t it look delicious? I have also made this in my slow cooker. I brown my ground meat and onions and then put all the ingredients in the slow cooker. I cook it on LOW for 6-8 hours.

What meals do you cook when the weather turns cold?
