The Faithfulness of God-August Scripture Writing Plan
Raise your hand if this year has panned out as you had planned in January.
{Crickets}
If you could raise your hand, I would say you are in a small minority of people. None of us could have predicted what 2020 would hold for us.
Maybe you feel as if something has been stolen from you or your family.
My own family has dealt with the loss of the last part of my daughter’s senior year in high school and my son having to come home from college two months early to do classes online.
It would be an understatement to say that 2020 has gone as we planned. In fact, because of all that has been happening, it has been easy to question where God is in all of this chaos. Has He left us alone to deal with this? Is He punishing us for not following Him more closely? Or are the situations we’ve been facing a result of a fallen world?
There are a lot of questions that don’t seem to have answers.
The good news is that God has not left us alone to figure this all out. He is still on His throne. And if we would turn our thoughts and our questions to Him, I know He’ll be faithful to direct our steps and move us forward in the direction we should go.
To help us focus on God’s faithfulness, I’ve put together the August Scripture Writing plan with verses that remind us how God is faithful in our lives. You see, even when we are faithless or lose our faith in Him, He is still faithful to us.
Isn’t that good news?
We can cling to the fact He is still faithful to the promises He’s given us.
