Kindness and Goodness-April Scripture Writing Plan

FREE Scripture Writing Plan-Join The Planning Woman as we write out verses about kindness and goodness.

If there has ever been a need for kindness and goodness in the world, it is now. Wouldn’t you agree?

I’m writing this in the midst of the new Corona Virus outbreak called Covid-19. Many people have been taken ill with this virus, schools and many businesses are closed, and some people are panicking because they don’t know what the future holds. Tempers are flaring online and during in-person confrontations. “Social Distancing” is a new term that will most likely make it into the dictionary at some point.

Yes, life is uncertain, scary, and difficult to navigate right now.

However, I’ve seen countless examples of people helping people. I’ve witnessed a lot of kindness and goodness in the world.

The Lord has been glorified through a lot of this chaos as well. Churches have realized they no longer have to be in the church to worship. People are breaking out in song and prayer for those who are affected by the virus. People are lifting the name of the Lord up in many ways.

I don’t think it’s any coincidence that the topic for our April Scripture Writing Plan is Kindness and Goodness. I chose this topic for this month at the end of 2019 and had no idea then what would be going on in our world today.

God did.

I think this is perfect timing as we are in the middle of chaos looking to hopefully break out of it soon. We can spend these next days and weeks learning what it means to live with kindness and goodness. We’ll also see examples of how God treats us with kindness and goodness.

And when we come out from our homes and can begin to interact with other people face to face, we can treat them with kindness and goodness as well.
