134: Creating Habits You’ll Stick With

In last week’s episode, I shared how we all have certain habits that hinder our productivity. If you haven’t had the chance to listen, go back and play episode 133 to hear what those habits are and how you can break them so you’ll be more productive.

Today I want to walk you through the process of identifying habits that will help you live out your priorities and have a more fulfilling life.

In last week’s episode, I mentioned the book by Charles Duhigg called The Power of Habit.

I’m fascinated by how our brains work, and I’m always looking for ways to develop good, productive habits that stick. I think it’s so important to continue growing and learning even as we get older. So I really enjoyed reading this book and learning about how our brains are wired and how we can overcome bad habits and obstacles to create better habits. The Power of Habit has numerous examples of how different people have developed habits that stick. Ones that last a lifetime.

I want to spend the rest of our time in this episode sharing what I’ve learned about creating habits that stick. I’ll also share how I’m putting what I’ve learned into practice. Hopefully, this information will help you develop habits that stick and will pique your interest in learning more about how you can create positive and life-changing habits.
