125: Incorporating Journaling Into Your Quiet Time with Kari Bartkus

One of my favorite things to do to start my day is journaling. I’ve been a journaler for what I feel like is my whole life. I’ve not done it consistently, but it’s something I’ve come back to over and over again when I need to feel grounded, to process what I’m feeling, or even just to write out my prayers to God.
Today’s episode is the last one in the series on making your quiet time more meaningful. We’ve covered scripture writing, using a quiet time journal page to help you stay focused, and how to use a color-coding system to enhance your bible study.
In this episode, I’m joined by Kari Bartkus. Seeing far too many people go through hardship alone, Kari Bartkus became determined to show up and be present when those around her were hurting. Through her work at Love Does That, she serves as a spiritual director to hurting Christian women, but she uses a modern-day letter-writing approach perfect for those drawn to quiet spaces and written words.
